TAG | deaths caused by Islamic terrorists
it is a well known fact that those who wish to destroy Western style democracies learn how to “work the system” to advance their cause. We see various Muslim groups doing this in Europe all the time.Diana West has a timely article on Islam and the Mosque at Ground Zero controversy entitled :
“We are Americans, each with an equal right to worship and pray where we choose,” New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said this week. “There is nowhere in the five boroughs of New York City that is off limits to any religion.”
Our founding documents guarantee that — and not just in the five boroughs.
But the unprecedented furor over plans for a mosque complex at Ground Zero tells us there is a coalescing sense that Islam is more than a “mere” religion as non-Muslims conceive of “religion.” It is becoming clear to people, despite the gag of political correctness, that there’s a reason “Islam” means “submission.” Islam not only seeks to order the spiritual realm inhabited by a Muslim and Allah, it lays out a doctrine to control every believer’s behavior (down to the most intimate bodily functions) as well as the public life of the collective. Doctrinally, Islam is thus “doubly totalitarian” in the words of G.H. Bousquet, a leading scholar of Islamic law, in accordance with the body of law known as Shariah. Under Shariah, freedom of conscience and freedom of speech are outlawed with extreme sanction (those who leave Islam fear death to this day), while non-Muslims and women exist as legal inferiors to the Muslim man. Meanwhile, jihad — holy war to extend Islamic rule — is a sacred command. And I have the books that prove it.
In other words, this isn’t Islam because I say so, but because its sacred, authoritative, mainstream, non-hijacked, untwisted texts say so. It is the religious and political and legal ideology that inspired the al-Qaida killers on 9/11, and it is the religious and political and legal ideology that inspires the mosque complex at Ground Zero. And I didn’t come up with that, folks; I just happened to notice, and thought you should know.
The crucial fact is, whether we are brutalized by acts of jihad or confused by acts of dawa (proselytizing), their goal is identical: more Islamic law. And this end will always justify the means as seen, for example, back in 2005 when hundreds of acclaimed Islamic clerics and heads of state gathered in Amman, Jordan. There, quite anti-climactically, they issued the “Amman Message” that declares that no Muslim who adheres to a recognized school of Islam may be labeled an apostate. Subtext: Not even Osama bin Laden could be, in effect, ex-communicated or otherwise blackballed or removed from good standing by these Islamic authorities. One of the 552 signatories was Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. Rest of the article here – http://www.dianawest.net/Home/tabid/36/EntryId/1494/Tolerance-for-the-Intolerant-Dooms-Tolerance.aspx
What about those who have Muslim friends,or at least think that the Muslims they know are their friends ?Bill Warner has an article that makes some salient points that are worth considering.
Muslim Friends – Bill Warner
August 27, 2010
When you read the comments section of an article about Islam, you will see the argument: I have some Muslim friends and they are good people. The conclusion: good Muslims mean that Islam is good. If the talk is face-to-face, the person may ask: Do you have any Muslim friends? There is a hidden implication that if you do not, then you don’t really know anything about Islam and you could be a bigot.
What is actually going on? The Kafir (non-Muslim) with Muslim friends does not know any real facts about Islam and wants to move the argument to feelings, not facts. If the Muslim friend is nice, Islam is nice. There is no need to know any facts about Islam. And, if Islam is nice, then speaking against it is bigotry.
It is amazing how much people can talk about Islam and never mention a single fact. It is easy to tell if someone is speaking about Islam factually. A fact-based discussion will include the Koran and the Sunna, which means that the words Mohammed and Allah will be heard. If there is no Mohammed or Allah, then the discussion is not about the facts of Islam; it is about opinions that come from the media, authorities and the web.
Here are questions to ask people with Muslim friends.
· Do you have any Muslim apostate friends?
An apostate is one who has left Islam and under Sharia law may be murdered. Who would know more about the true nature of Islam than someone who knows it at the core of their being? The apostate knows both sides of the story.
Here are other questions to ask those with Muslim friends:
· Do you have any Christian friends from the Middle East?
· Do you have any Armenian, Serbian or Coptic friends?
These people have suffered cultural and religious annihilation by Islam over the past 1400 years, shouldn’t you also meet them? About 60 million Christians have been murdered over the last 1400 years, and Armenians, Serbians, Copts (Egyptians) and the rest of the Christians of the Middle East furnished the body count. Doesn’t it make sense to talk to who has personal experience in engaging Islam?

From Bare Naked Islam – A most interesting comparison of various terror groups and the terrorists of Islam.Check out his website for some no-holds barred commentary.
From BareNaked Islam:
THINK THE IRA’S TERROR CAMPAIGN AND THE SECTARIAN VIOLENCE IN NORTHERN IRELAND WAS BAD?
- More civilians were killed by Muslim extremists in two hours on September 11th than in the 36 years of sectarian conflict in Northern Ireland
THINK CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IN THE USA IS BARBARIC?
- The 19 Muslim hijackers killed more innocents in two hours on September 11th than the number of American criminals executed in the last 65 years.
And a double BTW in regards to this sign – The idea expressed is so false it goes beyond propaganda to what should only pass as parody. Problem is,there are some Muslims who actually believe Jesus was a Muslim.
MUSLIMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATHS OF MORE THAN 270 MILLION NON-MUSLIMS WORLDWIDE.http://barenakedislam.wordpress.com
Across the World of Islam
Samuel M. Zwemer
The Cross of Christ is the missing link in Islam’s creed; it is our glory. The life of Christ alone can elevate their moral conceptions; dare we withhold that life from them? The power of Christ alone is able to set them free in the liberty of the sons of God; shall we not proclaim to them this freedom? Their political hopes in a pan-Islamic program are ruined. But they deserve sympathy and help in their struggle for a new nationalism and the principles of democracy. The soil of their hearts has been broken up by the plowshare of God. Now is the time for sowing; to-morrow, the harvest.
Their political hopes have been revived and there is not much of a desire for democracy amongst the Muslim nations, but Zwemer is right in saying that we must present the cross of Christ to the Muslims we have the opportunity to speak with.
