Sex Ed: Education or Propaganda?

By S. Michael Craven | Christian Post Guest Columnist

The last four decades have seen a significant shift in the philosophy behind sex education in America’s public schools. Prior to the sexual revolution, human biology and reproduction, hygiene, and marriage were the focus of sex education. In essence, this approach was grounded in particular moral virtues, namely biblical.

The new emphasis seeks to eliminate these traditional moral distinctions. Instead the student’s “choice” is given the supreme moral authority and the goal of these curriculums is to merely aid in the “safest” expression of the child’s choice.

This follows the vision set forth by Dr. Mary Calderone, former medical director of Planned Parenthood, first president of the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the US (SIECUS) and the architect of modern sex education, when she wrote:

A new stage of evolution is breaking across the horizon and the task of educators is to prepare children to step into that new world. To do this, they must pry children away from old views and values, especially from biblical and other traditional forms of sexual morality – for religious laws or rules about sex were made on the basis of ignorance. (Calderone & Johnson, The Family Book About Sexuality, 1981)

However, more and more modern sex education programs are becoming nothing more than publicly funded platforms for legitimizing homosexuality and other deviant and unsafe behaviors—pro-homosexual propaganda presented under the guise of “tolerance” and “diversity.”

As Olivia St. John writing for WorldNetDaily.com points out, “Thanks to public apathy and the efforts of misguided state and federal lawmakers, activist judges and liberal teachers unions, our nation’s schools have become the new red-light district of the 21st century.

Brand new ‘guidelines’ pushing radical, explicit sex ed agenda on schools nationwide

BY CHRISTINE DHANAGOM

  • Thu Jan 12, 2012 17:44 EST

January 12, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A group of progressive education organizations in league with the family planning and homosexual lobby have released a new set of sex education “guidelines” that they are pushing on schools nationwide.

The guidelines, published Monday in the Journal of School Health, were authored by the American Association of Health Education, the American School Health Association, the National Education Association – Health Information Network, the Society of State Leaders of Health and Physical Education, Advocates for Youth, Answer, and the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States.

The document is being touted as “the first-ever national standards for sexuality education in schools,” and as an answer to what it calls “the inconsistent implementation of sexuality education nationwide.”

“Forty individuals from the fields of health education, sexuality education, public health, public policy, philanthropy and advocacy convened for a two-day meeting in December 2008 to create a strategic plan for sexuality education policy and implementation,” reads the introduction. “A key strategic priority that emerged from this work was the creation of a national sexuality education standards to advance the implementation of sexuality education in US public schools.”

While the document does not say what organizations were represented at the meeting, the “advisory committee” and list of “additional reviewers” includes two representatives from Planned Parenthood, a representative from Planned Parenthood’s former research arm, the Guttmacher Institute, and the director of training and curriculum development for the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network.

The recommendations begin with a kindergarten to second grade curriculum. They suggest that, by the end of second grade, children should be using “proper names for body parts, including male and female anatomy,” be familiar with “different kinds of family structures,” and be able to “describe differences and similarities in how boys and girls may be expected to act, and provide examples of how friends, family, media, society and culture influence ways in which boys and girls think they should act.”

Introduction to sexual orientation would begin in the 3rd – 5th grade, and by 5th grade, students are expected to be able to define sexual orientation as “the romantic attraction of an individual to someone of the same gender or a different gender.”

The 6th – 8th grade curriculum calls for an explanation of the correct way to use a condom and an analysis of “external influences that have an impact on one’s attitudes about gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity.”

“Gender identity” is defined in the glossary as a person’s “inner sense of their gender.” The document explains: “most people develop a gender identity that corresponds to their biological sex, but some do not.”

By the end of 12th grade, the curriculum prescribes that students should be able to “differentiate between biological sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression.”

It also recommends that students be able to “compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of abstinence and other contraceptive methods, including condoms,” and “explain how to access local STD and HIV testing and treatment services.”

Leslee Unruh, President of the National Abstinence Clearinghouse, said that the proposed curriculum was an attempt to recruit students for a “twisted worldview.”

“These guidelines undermine parental rights and I am scared for the children and the parents,” she said. “I’m asking for an alarm to go out to parents for them to take charge and to refute these guidelines in the school systems.”

Unruh also said that some of the organizations involved in setting the standards, such as Planned Parenthood, stand to benefit financially from their implementation.

Tearing Down Childhood:Sex Education and Planned Parenthood

It is no wonder that sexual experimentation and sexual abuse among children is a terrible problem. Sex Education programs have been instituted in schools across the U.S. and Western Europe that sexualize  children and lead to destructive behaviors. These programs are not implemented by accident. There are a numerous educators and social liberals who desire to change the self-identities of children. Here are a couple of articles that give some details about some incredibly evil programs aimed at children.

The first article deals with a sex-ed program in the U.K.. that is being taught in science classes. This makes it more difficult for parents to withdraw their children from the class.

The second article deals with materials produced and distributed by Planned Parenthood. Kudos to the states that are defunding Planned Parenthood. These materials are purposefully designed to undercut the influence and authority of parents. No surprise,as the founder of Planned Parenthood (Margaret Sanger),was a virulent anti- Christian.

Graphic sex-ed program for kids can stay in compulsory science classes: UK official

BY KATHLEEN GILBERT

  • Fri Jul 08, 2011 14:22 EST
  • LONDON, July 8, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Parents of primary-school children are furious that Nick Gibb, the schools minister, has told Parliament that he won’t stop schools from using an explicit sex ed curriculum aimed at very young children during compulsory public school lessons.

The program at the heart of the controversy, “Living and Growing,” by state-owned broadcaster Channel 4, includes an episode that shows a naked cartoon couple pillow fighting before having sexual intercourse in several positions, as a narrator describes sex and its physical changes as “fun” and “very exciting.”

The episode appears in Unit 2, which is labeled for children aged 7 to 9.

A screenshot from the sex-ed program “Living and Growing,” aimed at 7 to 9-year-olds.

Ruth Pond, a mother of two from Worksop, Notts, has been campaigning locally to make sure the program, which sparked national news coverage last year after parents reacted in horror to its contents, is never forced upon children.

On Wednesday, conservative MP Stewart Jackson had asked national education officials whether they would “take steps to ensure that maintained schools are prevented from teaching aspects of sex and relationships education in science lessons that are not covered in the national curriculum for science.”

The Society for Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) noted that science is a national curriculum subject, and therefore parents are not allowed to withdraw their children from science lessons. By contrast, when sex education lessons are given in personal, health, social and economic (PHSE), parents have a legal right to withdraw their children if such lessons are unacceptable to them.

MP Nick Gibb, Minister of State for Schools in the Department for Education, responded to Jackson’s question, saying: “We trust teachers to use their professional judgement when following the national curriculum programmes of study for science.”

“We do not therefore consider it necessary to impose preventative measures on maintained schools to stop them teaching sex and relationship education (SRE) within national curriculum science lessons,” said Gibb.

Ruth Pond said that she is “very concerned,” that the program is being taught in science classes. “Does this mean that the law regarding the national curriculum will be changed to allow parents to withdraw their children from sex education that is too graphic?

“Otherwise it makes it impossible for parents to protect their children.”

Tower Hamlets local authority has issued a statement saying that parents can withdraw their children from national curriculum science, although there is no evidence that the Department for Education has approved this.

Charles said that the school has backed down on the curriculum and acknowledged the Tower Hamlets announcement, but said she was still “not confident that I will be able to spare my daughter.”

The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) is conducting a nationwide campaign called Safe at School on behalf of the growing number of parents around the country concerned about inappropriate sex education.

Planned Parenthood releases new sex, abortion guides for youth ahead of UN meeting

BY AMANDA PAWLOSKI

NEW YORK, July 7 (C-FAM) – In advance of the UN youth conference later this month, the International Planned Parenthood Federation has released two new publications on abortion and sexual rights for youth. The new documents are the latest part of the organization’s larger campaign targeted at teenagers and older children.

The sexual rights guide “Exclaim!” calls for a cornucopia of sexuality and gender protections and entitlements under the guise of international law. “Governments must respect, protect and fulfill all sexual rights for young people,” the publication states.

The guide is designed as a tool to help young people become sex advocates.

Although no right to sex or sexual pleasure exists in binding international documents, the guide goes through a list of human rights found in international law and explains how they can be read as sexual rights. Under the “right to know and learn” Planned Parenthood includes “bringing an end to abstinence-only sex education programs and promoting evidence informed approaches to comprehensive sexuality education.”

Comprehensive sexuality education, as defined by IPPF in the guide, goes well beyond biology to include ideology on gender, identity, and lifestyle choices. The guide insists, “Ensuring that all young people understand that they are entitled to sexual pleasure and how to experience different forms of sexual pleasure is important for their health and well-being.”

The guide also contains some self-contradictions. It cites the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 5 that states, “Parties shall respect the responsibilities, rights and duties of parents.” However, the guide insists that parents and the State are legally responsible for promoting the worldview and values that are held distinctively by IPPF. The guide demands liberalized abortion, self-identified (rather than biological) gender on identification papers, unrestricted access to contraceptives, and various other contentious claims.

The second publication, the “I Decide” abortion diaries, provides stories of young women seeking abortions, as well as graphic descriptions of sex, detailed advice on how to avoid pregnancy, and how teens can evade disapproving parents.

The publication informs young women “if you use misoprostol on your own, you will be advised to take the tablets by placing them under your tongue and this way, no one would be able to tell that you had used drugs to induce the abortion unless you told them yourself.”

The U.S. branch of Planned Parenthood has recently come under public scrutiny for its deceptive and illegal tactics in dealing with minors.

Last year, the Girl Scouts became embroiled in controversy when another IPPF sex guide, called “Healthy, Happy, and Hot” was distributed at their side-event during the Commission on the Status of Women. The sex guide, targeted at youth living with HIV/AIDS, promotes masturbation, sex under the influence of drugs and alcohol, as well as not-disclosing one’s HIV/AIDS status to one’s partner.

IPPF is a multi-million dollar organization, which includes contributions from the United Nations Population Fund and the World Health Organization. The organization has made youth and sexual rights one of its top priority areas of advocacy.

Pedophiles in High Places: Part II- Education

Robin of Berkeley posted an interesting article some time ago at American Thinker on the sexualization of children in our education system. This sexualization process has been going on since the late 60′s. If I remember correctly, the first sex education programs were started in the San Diego area, with devastating results (from a parental point of view). Some parts of the country have been heavily propagandized, while other parts have maintained some semblance of control over what is taught to kids about sex, gender etc. Here is a portion of Robin’s article with the link -

Warning: This article discusses the sexualization of American schoolchildren. It may be inappropriate for some readers. Discretion is advised.

When I was twenty, I fell hard and fast for a dreamy guy named Will. Handsome and hilarious, Will was the perfect boyfriend…that is, until the day he hit me.

We weren’t arguing; we were just goofing around on the couch. Out of nowhere, he slapped me across the face. Though I was shocked, I somehow found the wherewithal to say, “Don’t do that again.”

When I got my bearings back, I demanded to know why Will hit me. He said he thought I’d like it. I discovered that the man was into some unspeakable behavior, stuff I’d never heard of before. And he had had no problems finding willing others.

During our time together, Will put his perverse proclivities on ice. But I could see the roots of his depravity — his contempt for people, his stinginess, and his narcissism.

Eventually, Will dumped me for another girl. Though I cried inconsolably for weeks, in retrospect, his rejection was the best (and only) gift he ever gave me.

Looking back, I wonder why I didn’t follow Will down this treacherous path. I was needy and adrift, having had no strong parental arms to guide me.

Raised by permissive parents with Playboys on the coffee table, I was brainwashed into an anything-goes attitude about sex. Desperate for a boyfriend, I viewed free love as the road to true love.

However, those 1970s-era Playboys were relatively mild by today’s standards. Will’s predilections were shocking, unheard-of, totally out of bounds for the times. Even though I was young and impressionable, a voice inside me hollered, “No!”

But if I were twenty years old today, with the constant blare of extreme sex, I wonder whether I would make the same decision. Barriers erected around sexuality have continued to topple like so many dominoes all in a row.

Conservatives have been warning for years that society is sexualizing children. They even proclaimed that militant gays were initiating public school youth into their ranks.

I thought that conservatives were being paranoid and homophobic. What they asserted was ridiculous in the extreme.

And I must now admit that yet again, I was wrong. Rest of the article -http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/12/the_lefts_corruption_of_youth.html

Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit  has done a tremendous job of documenting the Kevin Jennings fiasco.President Obama appointed a sexual pervert as the “Safe School Czar”. Here is a portion of one article about the situation, follow the link for more articles.

Radical Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings will get a fat raise in funding this year.

At the same time, despite the runaway federal spending and record budget deficits, Barack Obama is including $410 million in the 2011 budget for his “safe schools” czar Kevin Jennings. This is an increase of $45 million over last year’s budget. Obviously, some things are more important than others. These funds ought to buy a whole mess of fisting kits, leather bar guides and child porn books. And, the money will come in handy for the sexual indoctrination of teens and pre-teens.
Citizen Link Blog reported:

So want does Jennings intend to do with this money?

For starters, he says he’s going to make “school climate” measurement a top priority—and, in fact, he’d love for “school climate” to eventually be made part of the “Common Core” national standards movement! He plans to begin with “a new grant program coming out of this department where we’ll be providing possibly as much as $70 million for investments in school climate projects.” (He revealed all this and much more in this month’s Phi Delta Kappan magazine. Scroll down to the “Safe at School” title.)

So at this point, you might be wondering, What on earth does “school climate” really mean? I think it’s best to take that definition from Kevin Jennings–based on his record as the longtime founder and leader of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network).

Under Jennings’ leadership, GLSEN has provided students with a“school climate” continuum measurement tool. This tool reveals a lot about Jennings’ true goals: A positively rated “inclusive school,” for instance, is defined as one where “LGBT themes are fully integrated into curricula across a variety of subject areas and grade levels.”

I.e., Jennings and GLSEN want homosexual, bisexual and transgender themes taught in every subject at every grade, all the way down to the kindergarten level, maybe even preschool.

In other words Jennings will be using millions of taxpayer dollars to promote “inclusive schools” where LGBT themes are fully integrated across a variety of subject areas and grade levels. This may appear innocent enough until you take a closer look at the radical GLSEN agenda.

Kevin Jennings, the founder of the GLSEN organization, has a long history of promoting sexual material in classrooms including books that describe sex between first graders and books that promote S&M. The GLSEN group also pushes books that romanticize child rape and books that show men having sex with boy scouts in the background. Jennings’ GLSEN group also organized student-teacher seminars where instructors held fisting lectures. He sounds like just the person who deserves a fat $45 million raise, huh?

Parents, you are responsible for your children’s education. You must monitor what they are studying and be aware of what is being taught in their classes. If you cannot homeschool your kids you must be extra vigilant. Talk to the teachers,go to meetings, follow the day to day assignments. Most of all, talk to your kids about what is going on in their life. School,friends,interests- show them that you care for them. Be a warrior for your children. There is no quarter in spiritual warfare. Grendel of Beowulf fame is an apt description of the enemy -

Grendel’s hatred began,/…the monster relished his savage war/ On the Danes, keeping the bloody feud/ Alive, seeking no peace, offering/ No truce, accepting no settlement, no price/ In gold or land, and paying the living/ For one crime only with another. No one/ Waited for reparation from his plundering claws:/ That shadow of death hunted in the darkness,/ Stalked Hrothgar’s warriors.” pg. 28, lines 151-160

For the Christian, there is One King,One LORD,and we need not fear the enemy. We must be aware of what we are facing, but entrust ourselves and our children to the Lord.

[Fight the Good Fight of Faith]
[11] But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.    [12] Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. [13] I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, [14] to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15] which he will display at the proper time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, [16] who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

Sexual Indoctrination,Religious Liberty,and UNESCO

Those who hold to traditional/Biblical values are coming into increasing conflict with the homosexual movement and those who are attempting to indoctrinate our kids with sexually perverted materials. Here are some examples of those battles.

Same-Sex Marriage and Religious Liberty: Emerging Conflicts

Edited by: Douglas Laycock, Anthony R Picarello Jr and Robin Fretwell Wilson,
Rowman & Littlefield Publishers Inc, 2008, xiv + 329pp, £22.99
ISBN 978-0742563261

Sweden has recently joined the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Norway, by becoming the fifth European country to pass legislation to permit same-sex marriage.1 While there are no formal proposals to legislate for same-sex marriage in the UK, the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, recently condemned the decision of the Californian electorate to limit marriage to unions between one man and one woman. The Prime Minister declared that the ban on same-sex marriage, backed by a referendum in the American state, was ‘unacceptable’ and would ‘undo good that has been done’.2

The purpose of this title is not to debate the pros and cons of same-sex marriage, but rather to consider the implications for religious freedom if same-sex marriage were to be approved. The book arose out of a gathering of seven prominent legal scholars and practitioners in December 2005 convened by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a legal and educational institute dedicated to protecting the free expression of all legal traditions. The issue is stated very plainly by Marc Stern:

‘The legislation of same-sex marriage would represent the triumph of an egalitarian-based ethic over a faith-based one, and not just legally. The remaining question is whether champions of tolerance are prepared to tolerate proponents of a different ethical vision. I think the answer will be no. Within certain defined areas, opponents of gay rights will be unaffected by an embrace of same-sex marriage. But in others, the impact will be substantial.’

From Fox News,an article illustrating the point of the above article :

A federal judge has ruled in favor of a public university that removed a Christian student from its graduate program in school counseling over her belief that homosexuality is morally wrong. Monday’s ruling, according to Julea Ward’s attorneys, could result in Christian students across the country being expelled from public university for similar views.

“It’s a very dangerous precedent,” Jeremy Tedesco, legal counsel for the conservative Alliance Defense Fund, told FOX News Radio. “The ruling doesn’t say that explicitly, but that’s what is going to happen.”

U.S. District Judge George Caram Steeh dismissed Ward’s lawsuit against Eastern Michigan University. She was removed from the school’s counseling program last year because she refused to counsel homosexual clients.

The university contended she violated school policy and the American Counseling Association code of ethics.

“Christian students shouldn’t be expelled for holding to and abiding by their beliefs,” said ADF senior counsel David French. “To reach its decision, the court had to do something that’s never been done in federal court: uphold an extremely broad and vague university speech code.”

Eastern Michigan University hailed the decision.

“We are pleased that the court has upheld our position in this matter,” EMU spokesman Walter Kraft said in a written statement. “Julea Ward was not discriminated against because of her religion. To the contrary, Eastern Michigan is deeply committed to the education of our students and welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds into our community.”

In his 48-page opinion, Judge Steeh said the university had a rational basis for adopting the ACA Code of Ethics.

“Furthermore, the university had a rational basis for requiring students to counsel clients without imposing their personal values,” he wrote in a portion of his ruling posted by The Detroit News. “In the case of Ms. Ward, the university determined that she would never change her behavior and would consistently refuse to counsel clients on matters with which she was personally opposed due to her religious beliefs – including homosexual relationships.”

Ward’s attorneys claim the university told her she would only be allowed to remain in the program if she went through a “remediation” program so that she could “see the error of her ways” and change her belief system about homosexuality.

For children aged 9-12, ‘a broad, rights-based approach to sexuality education’ will cover:

  • Importance of gender equality in terms of roles and responsibilities within families;
  • Specific steps involved in obtaining and using condoms and contraception, including emergency contraception;
  • Overcoming gender bias and inequality;

Make no mistake,UNESCO,Planned Parenthood,SIECUS,and others are working out of the same playbook, and  the desensitization of the children is considered as the key to the breaking down of the moral barriers of the students.

The State,Sex,and Control

A very thought provoking essay from Bookworm over at American Thinker. It is written from a libertarian perspective, and contains numerous good points. I don’t agree with every jot and tittle, but the article is well worth reading. I have included enough to whet your appetite, the rest of the article goes beyond Islam into the leftist agenda for sex education and the homosexual movement.

Sex and State Power

By Bookworm

For many years, physicists have tried to find a unified theory of everything. They have faith that somewhere out there, there is a theory that will explain the physical properties of all things, without any exceptions. I’m not sure that dream will be realized in the scientific arena, but I think I might have stumbled across a unified theory that underlies statist philosophies, whether they are socialist or theocratic: sex.

Before you get too excited, this article isn’t going to be about voluptuous women in slinky, abbreviated clothes, or scantily clad men with rippling pecs and washboard abs. Sorry.

Instead, this article focuses on the sordid, depressing, government-controlled side of human sexuality. That is, it examines sex not from the viewpoint of any given individual’s particular desires, but from the viewpoint of a state intent upon gaining maximum control over that same individual.

Those of us who came of age before the 1980s, when the Judeo-Christian, Western tradition, though battered, was still ascendant, view our sexuality as a private matter. We believe that our bodies are our own property, which means that we should not be touched or controlled sexually without our consent. A person raised with this worldview inevitably believes as well that his ability to control his body is the essence of his individuality. This physical individuality is the antithesis of slavery, which represents a person’s ultimate lack of control over his body.

Statist regimes, of course, cannot tolerate self-ownership, which is the natural enemy of government control over the individual. The easiest example one can find of a statist regime using sexuality to deny individuality and dominate its citizens is, of course, Islam.

A wise friend of mine once opined that Islam’s entire quarrel with the West rests on its fear that Western values will undermine Islam’s control over its women and, with that, its control over the men who benefit from a system that subjugates one half of the population to the control of the other half. There’s a great deal of truth in that observation.

Unlike most other conflicts, Islam’s quarrel with the West does not revolve around borders, water supplies, or economic control over assets. Instead, it focuses on culture — and the heart of the Islamic cultural difference with the West, at least in the Muslim mind, is Islam’s statist determination to erase a woman’s individuality through control over her sexuality.

In the Muslim world, women are viewed as temptresses, and men as feeble creatures incapable of resisting feminine wiles. The only way to control the anarchy that this perceived sexual imbalance creates is for the State — and remember that Islam and the State are indistinguishable from each other — to exert total dominion over the women within its reach.

The best way to regulate women is to remove them entirely from view. Islam has traditionally relied upon harems to isolate women from view (and, not coincidentally, from the body politic). This practice is still used in Saudi Arabia, where women may not leave the home unless they are accompanied by a male family member.

Should the imprisonment option be unavailable, however, wrapping the women in completely obscuring, shapeless mountains of cloth is an adequate substitute. Women so enveloped, aside from losing any individuality, are relatively dysfunctional and, therefore, are entirely dependent on men.

Women who seek to express (or are suspected of or falsely accused of expressing) their sexuality free of statist constraints are subject to exceptional cruelty in the Muslim world. This cruelty often comes directly from the State. Sakineh Mohammadie Ashtiani, an Iranian woman and mother of two, was due to be stoned to death for allegedly having an adulterous relationship. When an outcry arose, the Iranian government threw in a surprise murder conviction to justify making adultery a capital crime. Ashtiani is not alone: Twelve other women and three men await the same fate for having allegedly committed an act that, in Western culture, is not a crime against the State.

Islam also sanctions private actions to control women’s sexuality in the form of so-called “honor killings.”  These”all in the family” murders are endemic wherever Muslims live, whether in the Middle East, Europe, England, or America.

The Islamic state manipulates men sexually, too. On the one hand, it theoretically offers men the benefit of an enslaved female population. On the other hand, though, the isolation it imposes on women means that vast numbers of Muslim men are deprived of any access, normal or otherwise, to women.

An extreme example of State oppression over a “sexual” issue – (did the U.S.Govt. condemn this ?)

Iranian police rape and murder woman for “bad hijab” -http://www.jihadwatch.org/

Sharia Alert from the Islamic Republic of Iran: “26 Year Old Woman Raped and Murdered by Basij Members for ‘Bad Hijab,” from Persian2English, July 11 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

According to HRANA [Human Rights Activists News Agency], Elnaz Babazadeh, a 26 year old woman was raped and murdered by Basij forces in the city of Tabriz (northwestern Iran) last week.

According to HRANA, Babazadeh’s car was stopped by Basij forces for not following the Iranian regime’s dress code. Elnaz resisted the forces and did not listen to the orders of the Basij forces.

After Babazadeh resisted the orders of the Basij forces, the Basij member who initially stopped her jumped into her car and threatened her with a gun. Two other Basij members joined in and beat and raper [sic] her. They murdered Babazadeh and dumped her body close to Emamiyeh cemetery.

After local investigation was conducted by HRANA members in Tabriz, it was confirmed at Babazadeh’s funeral that the person who killed her was the son of a high-ranking Revolutionary Guards member.

The intentions of the savage Basij members was to put a stop to the “improper” way women in society dressed. Basij members believe this is their duty to God..

Sexual Liberation:Part One – Children are the Victims

An important story from Der Spiegel. If you think that it could never happen here, think again. Two of the most radical revolutions happening in the United States right now are the sexual revolution and the economic revolution. When people do not believe in God,or believe in a god that allows them to do anything they desire, there will be disintegration in all areas of life. Lust/covetousness is a deadly sin.

The sexual abuse of children has been steadily rising and there are groups constantly working for the lowering of the age of consent .Currently the age of consent varies from between 12- 18 years of age in most countries. I personally know of a 13 year old girl who “consented” to sex with a 21 year old. He got eight months probation.

Most sex education, especially the materials promoted by Planned Parenthood and the SIECUS organizations, pave the way to sexual experimentation.

How the Left Took Things Too Far

Germany’s left has its own tales of abuse. One of the goals of the German 1968 movement was the sexual liberation of children. For some, this meant overcoming all sexual inhibitions, creating a climate in which even pedophilia was considered progressive.

In the spring of 1970, Ursula Besser found an unfamiliar briefcase in front of her apartment door. It wasn’t that unusual, in those days, for people to leave things at her door or drop smaller items into her letter slot. She was, after all, a member of the Berlin state parliament for the conservative Christian Democrats. Sometimes Besser called the police to examine a suspicious package; she was careful to always apologize to the neighbors for the commotion.

The students had proclaimed a revolution, and Besser, the widow of an officer, belonged to those forces in the city that were sharply opposed to the radical changes of the day. Three years earlier, when she was a newly elected member of the Berlin state parliament, the CDU had appointed Besser, a Ph.D. in philology, to the education committee. She quickly acquired a reputation for being both direct and combative.

The briefcase contained a stack of paper — the typewritten daily reports on educational work at an after-school center in Berlin’s Kreuzberg neighborhood, where up to 15 children aged 8 to 14 were taken care of during the afternoon. The first report was dated Aug. 13, 1969, and the last one was written on Jan. 14, 1970.

Even a cursory review of the material revealed that the educational work at the Rote Freiheit (“Red Freedom”) after-school center was unorthodox. The goal of the center was to shape the students into “socialist personalities,” and its educational mission went well beyond supervised play. The center’s agenda included “agitprop” on the situation in Vietnam and “street fighting,” in which the children were divided into “students” and “cops.”

Pantomiming Intercourse

The educators’ notes indicate that they placed a very strong emphasis on sex education. Almost every day, the students played games that involved taking off their clothes, reading porno magazines together and pantomiming intercourse.

According to the records, a “sex exercise” was conducted on Dec. 11 and a “fucking hour” on Jan. 14. An entry made on Nov. 26 reads: “In general, by lying there we repeatedly provoked, openly or in a hidden way, sexual innuendoes, which were then expressed in pantomimes, which Kurt and Rita performed together on the low table (as a stage) in front of us.”

The material introduced the broader public to a byproduct of the student movement for the first time: the sexual liberation of children. Besser passed on the reports to an editor at the West Berlin newspaper Der Abend, who published excerpts of the material. On April 7, 1970, the Berlin state parliament discussed the Rote Freiheit after-school center. As it turned out, the Psychology Institute at the Free University of Berlin was behind the center. In fact, the institute had established the facility and provided the educators who worked there. Besser now believes that it was a concerned employee who dropped off the reports at her door.

A few days later, Besser paid a visit to the Psychology Institute in Berlin’s Dahlem neighborhood, “to take a look at the place,” as she says. In the basement, Besser found two rooms that were separated by a large, one-way mirror. There was a mattress in one of the rooms, as well as a sink on the wall and a row of colorful washcloths hanging next to it. When asked, an institute employee told Besser that the basement was used as an “observation station” to study sexual behavior in children.

It has since faded into obscurity, but the members of the 1968 movement and their successors were caught up in a strange obsession about childhood sexuality. It is a chapter of the movement’s history which is never mentioned in the more glowing accounts of the era. On this issue, the veterans of the late ’60s student movement seem to have succumbed to acute amnesia; an analysis of this aspect of the student revolution would certainly be worthwhile.

The Possibility of Sex with Children

In the debate on sexual abuse, one of the elements is confusion as to where the line should be drawn in interactions with children. It is a confusion not limited to the Catholic Church. Indeed, it was precisely in so-called progressive circles that an eroticization of childhood and a gradual lowering of taboos began. It was a shift that even allowed for the possibility of sex with children.

The incidents at the Odenwald School in the western state of Hesse — a boarding school with no religious affiliation — showed that there was a connection between calls for reform and the removal of inhibition. The case of Klaus Rainer Röhl, the former publisher of the leftist magazine Konkret, also makes little sense without its historical context. The articles in Konkret that openly advocated sex with minors are at least as disturbing as the accusations of Röhl’s daughters Anja and Bettina that he molested them, which Röhl denies.

The left has its own history of abuse, and it is more complicated than it would seem at first glance. When leaders of the student movement of the late 1960s are asked about it, they offer hesitant or evasive answers. “At the core of the movement of 1968, there was in fact a lack of respect for the necessary boundaries between children and adults. The extent to which this endangerment led to abuse cases is unclear,” Wolfgang Kraushaar, a political scientist and chronicler of the movement, writes in retrospect.

A lack of respect for boundaries is putting it mildly. One could also say that the boundaries were violently torn open.

Sexual liberation was at the top of the agenda of the young revolutionaries who, in 1967, began turning society upside down. The control of sexual desire was seen as an instrument of domination, which bourgeois society used to uphold its power. Everything that the innovators perceived as wrong and harmful has its origins in this concept: man’s aggression, greed and desire to own things, as well as his willingness to submit to authority. The student radicals believed that only those who liberated themselves from sexual repression could be truly free.

‘Hostile Treatment of Sexual Pleasure’

To them, it seemed obvious that liberation should begin at an early age. Once sexual inhibitions had taken root, they reasoned, everything that followed was merely the treatment of symptoms. They were convinced that it was much better to prevent those inhibitions from developing in the first place. Hardly any leftist texts of the day did not address the subject of sexuality.

For instance, “Revolution der Erziehung” (“The Revolution in Education”), a work published by Rowohlt in 1971, which quickly became a bestseller, addresses sexuality as follows: “The de-eroticization of family life, from the prohibition of sexual activity among children to the taboo of incest, serves as preparation for total assimilation — as preparation for the hostile treatment of sexual pleasure in school and voluntary subjugation to a dehumanizing labor system.”

Issue 17 of the cultural magazine Kursbuch, published in June 1969, described the revolutionaries’ position in practical terms. Published by German author Hans Magnus Enzensberger, the issue contained a report by the members of Commune 2 in Berlin, titled “Educating Children in the Commune.” In the summer of 1967, three women and four men moved into an apartment in an old building on Giesebrechtstrasse, together with two small children, a three-year-old girl, Grischa, and a four-year-old boy, Nessim. For the residents, the cohabitation experiment was an attempt to overcome all bourgeois constraints, which included everything from separate bank accounts and closed bathroom doors to fidelity within couples and the development of feelings of shame. The two children were raised by the group, which often meant that no one paid much attention to them. Because the adults had made it their goal to not just “tolerate but in fact affirm child sexuality,” they were not satisfied to simply act as passive observers.

Sin,Sex Education,and Consequences

What is sin ? The word isn’t used much any more. Popular preachers such as Robert Schuller and Joel Osteen refuse to mention sin in their sermons. There probably are not many people, whether they attend church or not, who can define sin,or give practical examples of how sin has separated them from God and their fellow humans. Cornelius Plantinga Jr. wrote a book in 1995,that does a good job of describing sin and its effects. Not the Way It’s Supposed to Be:A Breviary of Sin,is a book that deserves to be read.Professor Plantinga says the following about sin,

The Bible presents sin by way of major concepts, principally lawlessness and faithlessness, expressed in an array of images: sin is the missing of a target,a wandering from the path,a straying from the fold.Sin is a hard heart and a stiff neck. Sin is blindness and deafness. It is both the overstepping of a line and the failure to reach it-both transgression and shortcoming. Sin is a beast crouching at the door. In sin, people attack or evade or neglect their divine calling. These and other images suggest deviance:even when it is familiar, sin is never normal.Sin is disruption of created harmony and then resistance to divine restoration of that harmony. Above all,sin disrupts and resists the vital human relation to God,and it does all this disrupting and resisting in a number of intertwined ways.(pg.5)

Sex Ed Based on Lies Is Child Abuse

by Marcia Segelstein

Despite the fact that the work of Dr. Alfred Kinsey has been debunked and discredited—largely thanks to the efforts of Dr. Judith Reisman—the world hums along seemingly oblivious to the influence his fraudulent research continues to exert.

Dr. Miriam Grossman, in her book, You’re Teaching My Child What? A Physician Exposes the Lies of Sex Education and How They Harm Your Child, makes clear that we are paying a heavy price for our inattention and complacency.

Alfred Kinsey’s academic training was in the classification of insects. But he turned his personal obsession with sex into his field of study. As Judith Reisman and Kinsey’s biographer, James Jones, have concluded, Kinsey was a deeply disturbed man. Speaking as a psychiatrist, Dr. Grossman elaborates: “If Kinsey was alive today, and under my care, he’d be on high doses of medications. I would hospitalize him on a locked psychiatric unit because of the risk to his health from his compulsive sexual masochism.” From an early age, Kinsey was aroused by sexual humiliation and pain. At the end of his life, Grossman writes, “he intentionally inflicted trauma to his genitals, needed to be hospitalized, and required months to recover.”

Among many other things, his “research” included filming sexual encounters with his wife and among his staff. We now know that many of his findings were based on interviews with convicted pedophiles and sex offenders. He conducted his so-called research by “befriending male prostitutes, transvestites, sadists, and masochists,” Grossman writes. He concluded, among other things, that most Americans, including average folks, took part in traditionally forbidden sexual activities, and that heterosexuality is a result of “social pressures.” At the time, the late 1950s and early 1960s, his books were bestsellers, lapped up by a gullible public and the media, which ignored criticism from highly respected sources.

Think about this – Thousands of children have been taught junk sex education information based on the research of a discredited, deviant – Alfred Kinsey.SIECUS,Planned Parenthood, and a host of other groups have been indoctrinating kids for years. The radicals have thrown out God and implemented their relativistic ethics, This has led to terrible emotional and physical consequences. As Miriam Grossman,M.D. points out in her book,You’re Teaching My Children What ?A Physician Exposes the Lies of Sex Education and How They Harm Your Child,”…genital bacteria and viruses infect another young person every 3.5 seconds.” There is an epidemic of  sexually transmitted diseases among  the young, and  too many shattered lives to count. Many sex educators mock the truths of God and revel in their rebellion and sexual “freedom”. They are encompassed by the cords of sin,and are separated from their Maker. Worse than their personal bondage is their role in leading young ones astray.

Jesus said,

Mark 9:42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.”
